এক দোকানে কয়েকটা বিলিং কাউন্টার থাকলে প্রত্যেকটার নাম দিন — কাউন্টার ১, কাউন্টার ২। কোন বিল কোন কাউন্টারে হয়েছে তা বিলেই থাকে, আর প্রত্যেক কাউন্টারের ক্যাশ ড্রয়ার আলাদা: সকালে কত টাকা দেওয়া হলো, দিনভর কত ঢুকলো, কত বেরোলো, আর রাতে গুনে কত কম বা বেশি পাওয়া গেল। টাকা রাখার নিয়ম বদলায় না — প্রত্যেক ড্রয়ার দোকানেরই একটা সাধারণ ক্যাশ হিসাব, যা বাকি সব হিসাবের মতোই দেখা ও মেলানো যায়। এক কাউন্টারের দোকানে কিছু করার দরকার নেই, সব আগের মতোই চলবে।Naming the billing points inside one shop — counter 1, counter 2 — so a bill records which one rang it and each keeps its own cash drawer: what float went in this morning, what came in and went out through the day, and what was actually found in the box tonight against what the books expect. It changes nothing about how money is held: each drawer is an ordinary cash account of the shop's, read and reconciled like every other one. A shop with a single counter need do nothing and sees no change.
