আমরা বড় কোনো কোম্পানি নই। বাংলাদেশের দোকানদারদের জন্য একটা সফটওয়্যার বানাই, আর ফোন ধরলে বাংলায় কথা বলি।We are not a large company. We build one piece of software for Bangladeshi shopkeepers, and when you call, we answer in Bangla.

শুরুটা কীভাবে হয়েছিলHow it started

২০২৩ সালে মিরপুরের একটা মুদি দোকানে বসে হিসাব দেখতে গিয়ে ব্যাপারটা পরিষ্কার হয়। মালিক প্রতি রাতে দোকান বন্ধ করে দুই ঘন্টা খাতা নিয়ে বসতেন, তারপরও মাসের শেষে হিসাব মিলত না। কোন মাল কতদিন পড়ে আছে জানতেন না, কার কাছে কত বাকি সেটাও অর্ধেক মুখস্থ, অর্ধেক অনুমান।In 2023 we sat behind the counter of a grocery shop in Mirpur and watched the owner close up. Every night he spent two hours with a paper ledger, and the month-end totals still did not match. He did not know which stock had been sitting there for six months, and half the credit book was memory, half guesswork.

বাজারে সফটওয়্যার ছিল। কিন্তু সব ইংরেজিতে, দাম বলা হতো না, ফোন দিলে তবেই বলত, আর নেট চলে গেলে পুরো কাউন্টার থেমে যেত। আমাদের দেশে লাইন যায়, বিদ্যুৎ যায়। যে সফটওয়্যার সেটা ধরে বানানো হয়নি, সেটা এখানে চলবে না।Software existed. But it was all in English, the price was never printed anywhere (you had to ring and ask) and when the line went down, the whole counter stopped. In this country the power goes and the line goes. Software built without that in mind does not survive here.

দোকানসেবার কাজ শুরু হয় ২০২৪ সালের গোড়ায়, তিনজন মিলে। প্রথম গ্রাহক ছিলেন রংপুরের একজন মুদি দোকানদার। সেই থেকে দেশের নানা জেলার ব্যবসা দোকানসেবায় দিনের হিসাব রাখছে।Work on DokanSeba began in early 2024 with three people. The first customer was a grocery shop owner in Rangpur. Since then businesses across the country have kept their daily accounts in DokanSeba.

আমরা কী বানাইWhat we build

একটাই জিনিস: দোকানসেবা। এটা একটাOne thing: DokanSeba. It is a বাংলা পস ও ইআরপি সফটওয়্যারBangla POS and ERP: বিক্রি, স্টক, বাকির খাতা, ক্রয়, কর্মচারী আর লাভ-ক্ষতির হিসাব এক জায়গায়। ব্রাউজারে চলে, অ্যান্ড্রয়েডে চলে। আর নেট ছাড়াও চলে।: sales, stock, the credit ledger, purchases, staff and profit-and-loss in one place. It runs in a browser and on Android. And it runs without internet.

আমরা ওয়েবসাইট বানাই না, অ্যাপ ডেভেলপমেন্টের কাজ নিই না, ডিজিটাল মার্কেটিং করি না। একটা জিনিস নিয়েই পড়ে আছি, তাই সেটা ঠিকঠাক চলে।We do not build websites, we do not take app development contracts, we do not do digital marketing. We work on one product, which is why it works properly.

যেকোনো দিন সব হিসাব এক্সেলে নামিয়ে নিতে পারবেন, এর জন্য অনুমতি চাইতে হবে না, টাকাও লাগবে না। ছেড়ে গেলে ৯০ দিন ডেটা রেখে দিই, তারপর মুছে ফেলি।Export everything to Excel any day you like. You do not have to ask permission and it does not cost anything. If you leave, we keep it for 90 days and then delete it.

আগে বাংলা, পরে বাকি সবBangla first, everything else after

সফটওয়্যারের প্রতিটা বোতাম, প্রতিটা রিপোর্ট বাংলায়। কাউন্টারে বসা ছেলেটাকে ইংরেজি শিখিয়ে তারপর সফটওয়্যার শেখাতে হবে না। ইংরেজি চাইলে সেটাও আছে।Every button and every report is in Bangla. Nobody should have to learn English before they can learn the software. English is there if you want it.

অফলাইন কোনো বাড়তি সুবিধা নয়Offline is not a bonus feature

এদেশে লাইন যায়। তাই দোকানসেবা প্রথম দিন থেকেই অফলাইন-ফার্স্ট, নেট না থাকলেও বিল হয়, স্টক কমে, প্রিন্ট বের হয়। লাইন ফিরলে জমে থাকা এন্ট্রি নিজেই সার্ভারে যায়।The line drops here. DokanSeba has been offline-first since day one: billing, stock and printing all keep working. When the connection returns, the queued entries go up on their own.

চুক্তিতে বেঁধে রাখি নাWe do not tie you into contractsবছরের চুক্তি সই করাই না। মন না চাইলে মাস শেষে বন্ধ, জরিমানা নেই।There is no annual agreement to sign. Stop at the end of any month, no penalty.
