The software is free and open source. But you need your own server, domain, backups and someone to set it up, and some Enterprise modules (full accounting, Studio, the mobile app) are not in Community. The licence is zero; the cost is not.

Not a full one. Every shop gets a simple public page where customers see your products with prices, search them, and order on WhatsApp or by phone; the shop picks which products appear there. There is no cart, checkout, online payment or website builder. There is also a customer portal (middle plan) where customers see their bills and dues. A full online store with checkout is a real advantage of Odoo's.
