টালিখাতার মতো অ্যাপ একটা কাজ ভালো করে: কে কত বাকি রাখল, কবে শোধ করল, তাগাদা। সেটাই যদি দোকানের একমাত্র সমস্যা হয়, ওটাই নিন, ফ্রি। পস সহ খাতা লাগে তখন, যখন বাকিটা কোন পণ্যের সেটাও জানতে চান (মাসে কে কী নিল), স্টক আর বাকি একসঙ্গে মেলাতে চান, আর বিল কাটার পর আলাদা করে খাতায় টাকার অঙ্ক টাইপ করতে চান না। দোকানসেবায় বিলটাই খাতার এন্ট্রি; দুবার লেখা নেই, দুটো সংখ্যা মেলানোর কাজ নেই।

An app like TallyKhata does one thing well: who owes what, when they paid, reminders. If that is the shop's only problem, take it; it is free. A POS with a ledger is for when you also want to know what the credit was for (who took what this month), want stock and dues to reconcile together, and do not want to type an amount into a ledger after cutting a bill. In Dokan Seba the bill is the ledger entry; nothing is written twice and no two figures need matching.

বাকির ওপর সুদ হিসাব করে না, কাস্টমারের বাকির টাকা ব্যাংক বা এমএফএসের মাধ্যমে নিজে থেকে তুলে নেয় না, আর কাস্টমারের ক্রেডিট স্কোর বানায় না। খাতাটা দোকানের হিসাব, ঋণের সফটওয়্যার নয়।

It does not charge interest on dues, does not pull the money from a customer's bank or MFS account on its own, and does not build a customer credit score. The ledger is the shop's book, not a lending product.
