The free plan is a plan, not a trial; it never expires. Its limits are up to 30 products and 150 customers, reports for the last 30 days. At the limit, adding new products stops, selling continues and no history is deleted. Receipts carry a small "dokanseba.com" at the foot. Multiple branches, multiple users and the larger trade modules are on the paid plans.

One more limit worth stating: Dokan Seba has no chart of accounts, no double entry and no balance sheet. It keeps the shop's trading books, dues, expenses and profit and loss; if you need an accountant's full set of books, look at ERPNext or Odoo.

Yes, but "free" means different things. TallyKhata's app is free and the company earns from payment services. Dokan Seba's free plan is free for life but capped on products and customers. ERPNext and Odoo Community are free software, but the server and the setup are your cost.

Everything on this list does, in one form or another. In Dokan Seba the counter keeps billing when the line drops and the bills go up to the server when it returns. In ERPNext and Odoo, offline is limited to the POS module, not the rest of the system.

Medicine batches and expiry, and IMEI and warranty for handsets, are not in a general ledger app. Dokan Seba has separate module lists for pharmacies and mobile shops; start on the free plan and take a plan when the shop grows. The pharmacy and mobile shop guides on this site go into detail.

The question is not free versus paid but who holds the data and whether you can take it out. In Dokan Seba the data is yours, it exports to Excel, and what is kept or removed when you delete an account is written on its own page.
